The new Wiley book, edited by Prof. Alessandro Ricci and Prof. Luca Bernardi, ‘Methodologies in Amine Synthesis’ is now out.
We contributed to it with the chapter “Industrial Relevance of Asymmeytric Organocatalysis in the Preparation of Chiral Amine Derivatives”.
The book provides a complete overview of the state-of-the-art methods for the efficient preparation of amines, key compounds in organic chemistry. A particular focus is put on organocatalytic and enzymatic routes, which allow generation of amines in mild and environmentally friendly conditions.
